From Ponies to Podiums: Fratelli Fabbri Outfits All Levels and Ages of Equestrian Champions

Wellington, FL (May 26, 2018)

From pony derby victories to the top venues and arenas of show jumping, Fratelli Fabbri’s handcrafted riding boots can be found in the irons of some of the world’s most successful riders. Combining elements of their nearly ten decades of boot-making tradition with cutting edge materials, design, and innovation, the Fabbri tall boot features a thinner cut, athletic sole as well as a number of customizations to boost fashion appeal, longevity, and comfort. Finding the balance between classic and the contemporary, Fabbri continues to outfit riders of all levels and ages with boots that match their passion for their equines and their sport.

One of Fabbri’s youngest riders, ten-year-old Kat Fuqua not only has earned numerous ribbons in her boots but has grown up in her Fabbris. Starting with Fabbri short boots, Fuqua’s transition to major pony and junior hunter competitions also meant a change to Fabbri tall boots. Now, as she continues to compete on the east coast and is currently ranked #1 and # 2 for USEF Grand Champion Ponies and #1 USHJA 2017 Pony Derby Rider, Fuqua’s next challenge in her Fabbris is the 3’6″ Junior Hunter division at Devon.

One of the newest Fabbri Family members, Olympian Ben Maher, needs no introduction. Zipping up his new Fabbri tall boots in April of 2018, he has gone on to victory laps at the last few legs of Longines Global Champions Tour for the London Knights, and made his Fabbri debut during the 2018 Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach. Alongside fellow Fabbri rider Michael Duffy of the Miami Celtics, Maher and his group of campaign horses continue to top classes around the world.

Each Fabbri boot is crafted in Italy through a traditional, handworked system. Fabbri’s principal technical characteristic is adaptability. Each sole is cut either to custom specifications or with the intent of molding to the rider’s foot, so that each boot settles perfectly and immediately to the shape and movement of the leg, heel, and foot of the rider. Even on non-custom orders, Fabbri’s sole stands apart: cut thinner than a standard, off the rack riding boot, the Fabbri soles reflect the comfort and cushioning of an athletic shoe combined with hand-stitching and strong, supple Italian leather to create the ultimate riding boot.

From international show jumping veterans like multiple Olympic medalists Ben Maher and Nick Skelton, to rising stars in the sport like Lillie Keenan and Daisy Farish, Fabbri’s fit and performance has made them the first choice, with some of the world’s top Olympic and World Champion riders stepping into Fabbri before they step into the irons. Fabbri’s commitment to performance, luxury, and style is reflected in the achievements of its riders and a dedication to modern excellence.
